I know about General Letter 71 that is issued through DAS but does DOIT have similar purchasing guidelines?
A. The delegated authority under General Letter #71 includes DOIT products/services. Since the latest issuance of General Letter #71 (November 2002) a number of questions surrounding information technology purchases have come up relating to General Letter #71 (i.e., ITAR process, DOIT Master Agreements, IT consultants, etc).
