I keep seeing references to WebCT, Elearn, Campus Edition, CE6, etc. This is confusing. Are all these the same thing?

Yes. Our learning management system has gone through several personas during the past few years. It started out being called WebCT, and many still use this name even though the company no longer exists. So then we call the software Campus Edition or CE6 to get away from the company-specific brand name. Since Blackboard bought the application, some refer to it as Blackboard, but it is different than the main product that company sells. Quite often we now just refer to it as the Elearn system as that is how the URL is named.
