I keep hearing the terms EIOBoard Web Version, EIOBoard Application Version, and EIOBoard PDA Version. What is the difference between all of these?
The EIOBoard Web Version is the version a user accesses from their web browser, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, Opera, etc. This version can run on any operating system as long as a web browser is present. The EIOBoard Application Version runs only on Windows based computers, such as Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/2003. It is a small application that interfaces with the web version. The application version allows some unique benefits over the web version. Some of these benefits are, Outlook Synchronization, Auto-Status In/Out, and Idle timer. The EIOBoard PDA Version is a version of EIOBoard that runs on a Windows CE PDA with network/internet access. Tours for all of the versions are available at http://www.eioboard.com/toureioboard.asp.
