This problem is usually caused by a resource conflict between your video card and another device installed in your computer. You should start by updating to the latest drivers available for your video card. These drivers will be provided by the manufacture of your video card. I also recommend updating to Direct X 8.0 then install the Video Capture Update for Direct X 8.0. If the problem persists open the Device Manager and check to see if the IRQ used by your video card is shared with another device. If your video card is sharing an IRQ with another device you will have to manually reassign an IRQ for the video card in your systems BIOS. For information on performing this task please consult the documentation for your systems motherboard.
