I just updated my Jeppesen database in my GPS III Pilot/GPSMAP 195 and now it locks up when I try to search for intersections or VORs with the letters X, Y, and Z. How do I fix it?

A. Your GPS III Pilot/GPSMAP 195 needs to have its software updated to accomodate the increased number of intersections in the database. With the increase in the number of VFR checkpoints which are listed in the unit as intersections, the operating software for the GPSMAP 195 and GPS III Pilot have had to be updated. Please go to http://www.Garmin.com/support/download.html to update your operating software. You will need a PC interface cable for your unit to complete this process.
