I just registered a domain with Intergrow but when I do a look up in any Whois, the domain still shows up as available. Why is that?

When you register with us the domain is registered immediately. Whois is a global registry system and it can take up to 72 hours to update. You will have to allow time for the domain to show up as registered by you in any Whois record. And since most Internet service companies that provide domain registrations use the InterNIC WHOIS database, you may find your name coming up as “available” on those sites, even though you have already secured it.
