I just purchased the kit and watched the DVD. Are there any special techniques for creating skin art thats not shown in DVD?
The best way is to practice, practice, practice. Once you do a few, you will feel very comfortable doing skin arts. Using different shades of the similar colors, you can create gradient looks to your skin arts, which work wonderfully on skin arts. When working with gradients, use darker shades on the outside and gradually work in lighter shades as you get into the center. Use borders (with Black or Navy) to well-define your artwork and fill in with lighter color glitter. Certain lighter colors such as bright yellow or white do not show very well against light-toned skin and vice versa, unless contrasts or borders are used. Always be cognizant of that fact.
