I just purchased a 2007 Mercury Mariner Hybrid with an existing AM/FM radio with navigation. How do I add XM sat radio to it?
The specific model of the existing radio is GPS NAVIGATION 6M6T-18K931-AF. I would totally replace it, but I get some motor function and other vehicle info through it. The nav system is out of date and too expensive to upgrade, but I have a Magellan so don’t need to update the nav unit. I have an XM radio in my other vehicle and love it. I want to get a sat unit to add on to my existing radio in the Mariner, and to add to my XM plan. How do I go about doing this?
