I just got the AdrenaLinn III and plugged it into my guitar amp and when I play through it, it has too much treble, not as good as the audio demos on your site. Whats wrong?
Because most AdrenaLinn III customers use the product in the recording process or with a flat-response sound system, the presets are all optimized for this method and therefore all use amp modeling. For this reason, you will obtain the best sound when running into a high-fidelity sound reproduction system such as a recording console, studio monitors or a flat-response PA system. By comparison, guitar amps strongly change your tone, usually adding a strong treble boost, which is why we all like them and why we at Roger Linn Design model them. If you prefer to run AdrenaLinn III into a guitar amp, we recommend you set the DIRECT/AMP setting to AMP, which attempts to alter the amp modeling sound in order to compensate for the strong treble boost and sound coloration of most guitar amps. However, every amp is different so this setting still may not please you. Also, by running an amp modeler into an amp, this is akin to running a Fender amp through a Marshall; you might like how it sounds
