I just got engaged! how soon should I start wedding dress shopping?
Just look in bridal magainzes and on-line for now because if you buy your dress too early, then you may find one after you’ve bought that dress that you like better. That happened to my daughter-in-law. She bought her dress a year before her wedding and regretted it because since then, a few of her girlfriends got married and she loved their dresses and wanted to change what she had, but it was too late. I would start actually going wedding gown shopping about 6 months before your wedding date, so that would be end of January to first part of February 2010.
