Parking tickets are distributed to individuals if they do not comply with Ordinance No. 72-58-2, which states: “Parking, standing, or stopping of motor vehicles in fire lanes, or actions which otherwise obstruct fire lanes, shall be prohibited at all times except for emergency loading and unloading.” A $25.00 fee will be given to those who do not comply with the above terms. Parking in a handicap space, without a handicap placard or license plate on your vehicle, will result in a $50.00 fine. If fines are not paid, the perpetrator may be subject to fines not exceeding $300.00, or imprisonment for a period not exceeding thirty days.
