The following applies to TiVo Desktop for Windows. Make sure you download TiVo Desktop Plus 2.6.2 — a free upgrade from v2.5. TiVo Desktop Plus 2.5 was set to stream video at 480×480 resolution with a constant bitrate of 2000 Kbps. That doesn’t look very good scaled on larger displays. TiVo Desktop 2.6.2 is able to stream at higher resolutions and bitrates, thereby improving quality.
