I just bought a bed less than five years ago and it is not comfortable. What does the manufacturer warranty cover?
Warranty information comes attached to every new mattress and can be referred to if there are any questions. Unfortunately, according to the mattress manufacturers, comfort is not considered a warranty problem. The biggest issue that comes about with the warranty is body depressions. Many of the innerspring mattresses that we stock carry a ten-year warranty on body depressions deeper than 1 ½ inches. On latex and memory foam beds, the threshold for body depressions can be as low as 1 ¼ inches and ¾ inches respectively.
