I just bought a 2005 3.6L Cadillac CTS. Are the cars good in performance?

I bought a 2005 Cadillac CTS w/ a 3.6L engine about 2 days ago. The ride is smooth and I just love the features like the navigation system and the sunroof. It has automatic windows, keyless entry, 6 cd changer, everything you might want in a luxury sedan. The question i’m asking is if it is a good performance car or not. A: If your car has the Sport Package which includes the front stability bar, limited slip differential, and Stabilitrac, your car is just as good of a performance car as the competition of that year. If you have the original window sticker, it will tell you what options you have. The CTS is a rear wheel drive vehicle that has now developed into Motor Trends “Car of the Year” and easily matches the performance of it’s current competition. Your 2005 however, has nothing in common with the 2008 except the name. I had 4 2006 – 2007 CTS’s and they can run with the best of them (with the 3.6L). The 2005 CTS engine is the same as the 2006 & 2007. Good luck and enjoy your car!
