If you have installed an update of Maps and updated the firmware software of your mobile device (firmware reflash) afterwards, a previous version of Maps has been re-installed on your mobile device together with the firmware software. As this previous Maps version might not be compatible with the map data of the newer version you used beforehand, the application may crash. To avoid this, simply re-install the latest version of Maps on your mobile device. This will correct the problem of your application crashing.
