Several of our customers have reported slow machine performance and even crashing when editing a page with a FrontLook applet on it when the Microsoft ‘HTML Tool’ add-in is installed and working. The ‘HTML Tool’ add-in is available from the Microsoft Office web site and once installed can easily be uninstalled. If you bring up a page with a FrontLook applet on it, you may note that the applications performance will be severely reduced as the tool parses the page over and over. This tool is not that useful to the everyday FrontPage user and it is recommend that it be disabled.
