I inadvertently deleted a data entry screen from a FieldWorker Project on my Newton MessagePad; how do I restore this?
You can restore a deleted data screen (or a deleted project) in FieldWorker Pro (Newton version) by re-importing the project file from your PC. The Conservation Assistant FieldWorker projects are stored on your PC under C:\Program Files\ConservationAssistant\FWProjects. (If you do not have the files on your PC, you can download them here). On your PC start FieldWorker Connect under Start>Programs>Conservation Assistant>FieldWorker Connect. In FieldWorker Connect Select “Show” and “Unlock”, then “Reverse”. Connect your Newton to the PC using the serial cable and adapter. Start FieldWorker on your Newton; Tap “Project” then “Import”; under the options select “Delimited by Tab” and note the Baud rate (usually 38400); tap “Import”. Back in FieldWorker Connect on your PC make sure the Baud rate matches the setting on your Newton, and that you have the correct ComPort chosen.
