I heard the Java programing language isn supported on Windows XP, do your calculators work on Windows XP?
Yes – our calculators work great on Windows XP! Java applets are fully supported by IE and will be for the foreseeable future. It is true that Microsoft will no longer be the company providing the Java virtual machine, this will be taken over be the originator of Java technology, SUN Microsystems. The Microsoft JVM, often found installed in Microsoft Windows 98, ME, 2000, and XP will continue to run our applets. The new Java Plug-in from SUN can also be used to run our Java applets. For more information on installing the SUN Plug-in, instead of the Microsoft JVM please see: http://www.yloanhelp.com/money/sunjvm.html Additiona Windows XP information can be found at: http://www.yloanhelp.com/money/trouble.html#AA Java technology will continue to be supported as an external plugin, just like MacroMedia’s Flash, Adobe PDFs, and many other 3rd party tools used to display content in web-browsers.
