I heard that loads of tents were left uncollected at Glastonbury. How can I know the same thing won’t happen to my tent?
The weather was particularly bad at the Glastonbury Festival this year. We did collect tents, but battled conditions to do so. There was also some miscommunication: we invited participants to pack up their tents and drop them off to us, but many left tents standing, thinking we would be dismantling them. Unfortunately, it is not practicable for our small team to dismantle thousands of tents, and it would be economically unsustainable to bring in the number of volunteers required to do this.
