I heard that fertility medications such as Humegon, Pergonal, Repronex or Fertinex, Clomid, Serophene, Gonal-F, and Follistim can cause false-positive or -negative results on HPTs. Is that true?

None of these medications can give you a false-positive pregnancy result. The only fertility medication that can cause a false-positive on a home pregnancy test is one that includes hCG, an hCG injection such as Profasi or Pregnyl.
