I heard that as a student, I can have unlimited access to regional public transportation. How does that work?
A. Students approved a Universal Transit Pass (UTP) fee, which allows all students to use all public transit bus and light rail systems in Sacramento, Yolo (excluding Unitrans), Folsom, El Dorado and Elk Grove at a greatly reduced rate. Add the UTP sticker to your Student Access card and it becomes your transit pass – good seven days a week from August 1 through December 31 and from January 1 through May 31. This is an incredible bargain!
