As an independent and expert source of guidance to the City on the lodging industry, the City recently hired Economics Research Associates (ERA) to conduct a study of the hotel market as it relates to Falls Church. ERA was also assigned to give us recommendations as to the best fit for City Center South for hotel quality, scale, and categories of brands and products. The consultants made a public presentation on Feb. 5, 2008, which was well attended and included an extensive question and answer session.
