I hear Rhiannon is an expert on trauma counselling, having done this for years in Rwanda. Could she come to speak in our conference on trauma counselling?
Rhiannon’s speciality is not trauma counselling although she may sometimes pray during a workshop with individuals for healing of their trauma. Counselling is a different discipline which is usually a process and a commitment to seeing clients over a period of time. She is not in a position to do this. Our focus is on equipping the church to be an agent of healing and reconciliation in the community. The trauma counselling aspect is handled by our Member Care department.
