I hear Cabo is located in the tropics. Does that mean there is a rainy season I should try to avoid?
Cabo is located in the tropics, but there is no real ‘rainy season’ like some other tropical destinations. Cabo can recieve moisture from the tropical storms that are generated in the warmer waters south of Baja from June through November, but most of these weather systems only last for a couple of days, and are generally not very intense. For the most part, the weather during these summer and fall months is clear and hot. It never hurts to take a look at the most recent satellite photo of Mexico before heading to Cabo, so you can have some idea of what to expect during your stay!
