Forex used to only be accessible to the “big guns” such as banks and corporates. The reason being the initial deposit as the margin was really high since there was no leverage back then. Forex Trading also had to be done in the proper trading place. Online forex and leverage had just popped out recently (leverage in early 90’s) and really helped common people who don’t have access to huge amount of capital to start up Forex Trading. High leverage and mini trading accounts immensely spread the prevalence of forex trading. Forex Trading has become a lifestyle.
