When the factory that we get the bridge boards from the chipsets they did not create a serial number for each chipset, so all of the chipsets we received on our shipment have the same serial number, 000000. Since the system can not communicate with two drives with the same serial number through the same bus you can not use both drives attached to firewire at the same time.
