I have to use a corporate proxy for my computer to function for work and am having problems installing NexDef and/or problems playing the game. What can I do?
First, try disabling your proxy, close your browser, restart it, and try the installation or game again. If you still have problems you may need to add an exception the proxy server rules in your browser. You can do so by following the instructions below: Internet Explorer 7: a) Open the Tools menu and select Internet Options. b) Select the Connections tab. c) Click the LAN settings button. d) Click the Advanced button in the Proxy server area. e) Add local.swarmcast.net to the (semicolon separated) list in the Exceptions area. f) Click OK and OK to leave the windows. g) Try the NexDef install or video playback again. Firefox 3: a) Open Tools menu and select Options. b) Select Advanced from the selections along the top. c) Select the Network tab. d) Click the Settings button. e) Find the box labeled No Proxy for: and add local.swarmcast.net to the (comma separated) list. f) Click OK and OK to leave the windows. g) Try the NexDef install or video playback again.
