I have the Sims 2 Deluxe Edition… Can I use the original Sims expansion packs (not Sims2) with this edition?

Sims 1 and Sims 2 are different games so u can’t use the Sims 1 Expansion Packs to The Sims 2. But the great thing is that there r a lot of expansion packs and stuff packs for Sims 2, like Nightlife, University, Pets, Open for Business, Seasons, Bon Voyage. I never played Sims 1 but i know that Sims 2 is much better.
