I have taken general education courses outside of Hostos; can I transfer them to Hostos?

Students may transfer credits earned at other colleges and universities, provided the courses are comparable to those offered at Hostos and the institution is accredited by one of the regional accrediting commissions. Credits may be accepted if a grade of “C” or better was earned and the course was completed within five (5) years of entering Hostos. The actual grade does not transfer; it will be recorded on your transcript as “CR” regardless of the grade earned. The maximum number of credits that may be transferred to Hostos is thirty (30). However, there are only twenty-three (23) general education credits in the program of study for the A.A.S. degree in radiologic technology. Therefore, only twenty-three (23) general education credits may be applied toward the A.A.S. degree in radiologic technology regardless of the number transferred to Hostos.
