Quality of bellydance instruction varies greatly from teacher to teacher. Its frustrating when new students come to me as an intermediate student, that dont have a good foundation in the basics from their previous class. Its always a good idea to take at least a few beginning classes with a new instructor to get a feel for their teaching style and class structure.
