I have taken another musical theatre writing workshop in the past; can I bypass the Introductory year?
If you are a graduate of New Yorks BMI workshop; Theatre Building Chicagos Writers Workshop, or the musical theatre program at Tisch, we’d probably be able to start you at the higher levels of membership, but that’ll be the call of our Artistic Director, John Sparks.Back to topIm a former member of the Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop and would like to join again.How nice to hear from you again! What we would like to request is that you submit an application to us, along with writing samples. Our curriculum has changed significantly since you were last with us, and we’d like the chance to become re-acquainted with your work. It’s possible that some returning members, such as yourself, may be invited to join at the Intermediate level with the understanding that you also complete that part of the new curricula not in force during your first workshop membership.
