I have submitted a nomination package, but another supporter would like to write a letter on behalf of the nominee. How should we proceed?
Either the nominator or supporter can submit the additional supporting letter, by e-mail, fax, or mail. E-mail: leadership@agu.org Fax: +1-202-328-0561 AGU Attn: [Name of Medal/Union Award] Committee 2000 Florida Avenue, NW Washington, DC 20009, USA Any additional supporting letters submitted electronically, by fax, or mailed via regular or courier delivery must be date stamped and received by the submission deadline (i.e., Union awards – 15 October; Medals – 15 March).
AGU strongly recommends and prefers that all documents are submitted to headquarters by the nominator. Supporters should allow adequate time to forward their letter directly to the nominator, who is responsible for submitting the complete nomination package. If a supporter must submit his/her letter separately, due to time constraints, then contact the AGU Member Relations staff at unionfellows@agu.org for further instructions. All nomination documents must be received at AGU headquarters by the deadline.
