I have some friends staying nearby/who live locally. Can I invite them to use the Resort facilities?
Sadly, No. This is a private Resort. Due to previous guests abusing the system by inviting all their friends (in one case, 10 “friends” who were renting a 5 bed Villa on Highlands Reserve), neighbours & casual acquaintances (again, in another case, her nail technician!!!) to the Resort to use the facilities for free, the Management who run the Resort decided this was unfair on the Owners & fee paying guests who could not enjoy the facilities they had paid for. So they were forced to increase security. Now, all guests are required to Check In at the Front Desk, pay the $10 per night Resort fee for their Membership, and list all the members of their party who will be staying in the house. This is also required as a check on the Occupancy Licence and for the Registration for County Records. They are then issued with wrist bands. Then, when guests wish to use the facilities, this list & the wrist bands are checked.
