I have several Quickbird TIF tiles and one RPC file. How do I use all the TIFs within a Rational Functions project in OrthoEngine?
Quickbird data can be delivered in a grid of several TIF tiles with one RPC file. To use this data, start a ” Rational Functions – Extract From Image File” project in OrthoEngine. From the Utilities menu item select ” Stitch Quickbird Tiles With The Same RPC’s .” This will allow you to stitch together up to a 4×4 grid of tiles (16 TIF files) with one RPC file. Fill in the Number of Rows, Number of Columns in your gird, your input files, your RPC Filename and your Output Filename and your TIFs will be stitched and ready to use. This functionality was not included with the Geomatica 9.0.0 release. This functionality is in our latest version of Geomatica 9.0.2. If you have Geomatica v9.0.0 or 9.0.1, please download the latest patch to upgrade: http://www.pcigeomatics.com/freeware/updates.html .
