I have several PCs accessing the helpdesk successfully, but 1 or 2 machines get various errors. Whats the problem?
This usually caused by a difference in some of the files installed on each machine, usually these are the .OCX files. One way to establish this is to compare the file size and dates for : COMCTL32.OCX COMDLG32.OCX DBGRID32.OCX CRYSTL32.OCX DBLIST32.OCX on both the problem machine and on one which works OK. The usual culprit is COMCTL32.OCX. Once you establish which one is different, make a backup of that OCX on the ‘problem’ machine then overwrite the OCX with the ‘good’ copy.
