I have several non-system hard drives with content that does not need to be scanned for malware. How do I customize the Full Scan in the Virus Guard to scan only the drives that I want it to scan?

The RSS 2011 and RVS 2010 Virus Guard is set by default to scan all internal hard drives. Further, the default settings include additional drives you may have connected to the computer at that time. As this is not always necessary or desired, you simply need to adjust the Full Scan settings to perform custom scans that better meet your needs. Running custom Full System Scans: Click Virus Guard > Scan > Full Scan > Start > select appropriate user files (yours or for all user files) > uncheck the default scan of all hard drives and attached drives in the Full Scan configurations screen “Areas to scan” section > Check Scan defined files and folders > Click the Define list link. In the list manager, use the “Add folder” button and then select the drive(s) and/or specific folders you want to scan. Keep this setting as the list manager will remember the choices you make here so the next time you want to perform a Full Scan, simply open the Full Scan configurations screen and then click the S
