I have several dual-CPU machines, and I wish to run my computation across these machines. It seems like the CADI toolkit is designed for single-CPU clusters — can I run it over dual-CPu machines?
A Yes, you can. You are right, in that the toolkit is designed for multiple single CPU machines. However, it will happily run on dual machines. The only problem is that, if there is only one user running, it will, by default, only use a single CPU on each machine. You can only get around this by creating your own text file, where each line of this text file contains the name of a machine that is running the CADI server. Machines with multiple CPUs should have an entry for every CPU.
