I have set up my Wireless Media Stick™, and shared my folders but they don’t show up in the scan. What’s wrong?
There could be different reasons: 1. You may not have your computer set up for sharing folders (check your computer and specific operating system to set this up, or check the Wireless Media Stick™ User Guide). 2. You may have a firewall turned on that is not letting sharing through. Enable your firewall to allow SMB sharing ports. 3. If you have Windows 7, you may have your PC set to share with HomeGroup. You need to set your folder to share with an account on the PC. Right click on the folder and choose ‘Share With’ and then ‘Specific People’ and choose an account name.
