Actually it is working, just not the way you intended. Often our customers run into problems like this when they have fields with the same name in multiple tables, and the filter is being “satisfied” before it gets to the table you are interested in plotting. This happens when you have lost track of the table priority (or order) in your database. Techbase will search through a database for fields within a filter starting with the first table, and continuing in systematic order to the last. Tables are arranged in the order they were created. Don’t remember in what order you created your tables? No problem. You can check table order using the ^R (database review) option which pops up a window that summarizes the structure of your Techbase database. If you run into a problem where you think filters might not be working, take a quick look at the structure of your database.
