Taskline doesn’t actually take a task’s Due date into account when scheduling, mainly because many people prefer Taskline to actually set the Due date when it runs. However, you can certainly specify a date that the task must finish on or by, for example to meet a deadline. You do this by setting up an external constraint, which is simply a matter of selecting the Finish on or Before constraint type from the Task should drop down list on the Taskline task form in Outlook.
