I have sent my forms for Gleim to process my renewal. How long until I receive my temporary certificate?
Upon receipt of the correct documents, Gleim will verify that all the forms have been adequately completed and that you have successfully completed the FIRC. If your forms are filled out correctly and you have successfully completed the FIRC, Gleim will process your renewal and mail your temporary certificate within 3 business days. If there are problems with your forms, or you have not successfully completed the FIRC, Gleim will contact you within 1 business day of receiving your forms and let you know what is needed from you. You are responsible for making sure that the course is completed and that the appropriate forms are correctly filled out and submitted to Gleim before the CFI expiration date. You can check your renewal status online by logging into FIRC. On the Lesson Selection screen, there will be a display status showing the date(s) that we received your information and paperwork. If no date appears, we have not yet received that particular piece of paperwork.
