I have requested that my old telephone number be moved onto TalkBroadband. How long will it take before this happens?
A. Upon receiving your order, Primus will initiate the Local Number Portability (LNP) process to request that your current telephone company transfer your number to the TalkBroadband service. This process takes approximately 15 days to complete. This means that you will receive your TalkBroadband package, and be able to place outbound calls on it, but your old telephone number will continue to ring on your old phone until this process completes.
