1. Remove both cartridges from the printer 2. Wipe the copper contact on the cartridges and the contacts in the printer with a damp non-abrasive cloth 3. Place the cartridge which caused the error message back into the printer and turn the printer off for 1 minutes 4. Turn the printer back on. The printer will ask you to place the other cartridge back into the printer 5. Once you have placed the second cartridge back into the printer, the printer will ask you to align the second cartridge 6.
