The current training exemption applies only to current active duty police officers who seek S.O.R.A. certification. All other applicants, including retired officers, must comply with all of the requirements of the New Jersey Security Officer’s Registration Act (S.O.R.A.) in order to obtain a Security Officer Certification. Please call our offices at 201-920-6400 for further information regarding your individual certification requirements.
