If the insurance company received a report from a doctor that says you are capable of doing some work and that work is available, such as an vocational report (see Question #13), they can file a Suspension/Modification Petition seeking a Judge to order that your wage loss benefits stop or be reduced. Your medical benefits will not be affected. The Workers Compensation Judge will conduct hearings to determine whether the wage loss benefits should stop or be reduced. As every step in this process is critical, you should consult with an attorney immediately.
