I have received an E-mail from VISA asking for my credit card details. Should i respond to the E-mail?
Recently fraudulent e-mails have been sent to a number of customers claiming to be from AAIB or VISA or MasterCard. These e-mails urge customers to click on a link directing to a fairly realistic looking website, where they are asked to input or verify details including account numbers, user names, passwords, PINs, Credit Card numbers. AAIB or VISA or MasterCard will NEVER ask you for your account number or user ID or password or Credit Card numbers or any other personal security details what so ever via e-mail. NO e-mail from AAIB or VISA or MasterCard will contain a hyperlink to the internet Banking log on page. If you receive any suspicious looking e-mails, do not carry out any of the instructions and immediately contact our Call Center 19555 (24/7).
