No. The ceramic-titanium surface completely encases the pan base. Aluminum will never come in contact with food. Scientifically speaking, the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) has determined a number of years ago that there is no connection between using aluminum cooking utensils and Alzheimers disease. Most restaurants or catering houses prepare food on plain aluminum cookware, due to its advantageous cooking characteristics.
