The City of Fairfax offers several different programs and eligible income levels vary. For Hearts & Hammers and Christmas in April, programs designed to assist low income homeowners, eligibility begins at $28,200 for a one person household. The maximum income level goes up with each additional person in the household. For Home Repair for the Elderly and the Home Improvement Loan Program, programs aimed at eligibility for a one person household starts at $35,150.
