This can happen if you didn’t enter your registration code into the Register dialog box on your mobile device. Run PhatNotes on the mobile device and use Help / Register menu command on Desktop PC or Tools / Register menu command on Pocket PC to register the application. Use the same registration code (serial number) as on the desktop PC.
