Carefully read the promotional email you received, probably the product you purchased is not one of those on offer. Moreover, make sure the domain extension you chose and the requested operation (registration, transfer, renewal) are actually on offer. For instance, a promotional offer on .net domains CANNOT be extended to domains of the same kind and vice versa.
